We are a group of poets based in Detroit and we are going to be performing very soon!!!

Witness is composed of Poets, Visual Artists, MC’s, Producers, educators and more.  We all recognize ourselves as artists for a cause, and that cause is to create a link between creativity and self expression.  We recognize that there are communities that have lost their voices, and we are committed to giving it back to them.  Our efforts include work shopping with artists interested in honing their craft, participating in community service and development efforts, and creating safe spaces that will continue to exist even in our absence.  We are each well seasoned, nationally recognized artists looking to continue to nurture our own growth as well as the growth of others.
